Genealogy Blog

Grandma Annie wrote an e-mail to me telling me she didn't have anything interesting to post on a bog--was just sitting in front of a computer doing geneaology all day long.   But when I was at the reunion, she showed me whole bunch of really interesting stuff about the Johnson family line, including pictures, etc.   I think she is wrong...and should do a geneology blog.  She could/should post pictures of the family and write about the research she is doing.   What a great opportunity for the grandchildren to learn about their ancestors, and to develop a love for the work she is now dedicating much of her life to.    ALL IN FAVOR--SAY YES!THEN GIVE GRAMMA ANNIE A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT!

Reunion Over - Back to Kuwait

Well, the Family Reunion is over, and I'm back in Kuwait for the duration.   Got home to a beautiful day in Kuwait -- only around 110 F, so not so bad from a temperature standpoint.   Actually, as cold as they had it set in the airplane, the hot air felt really good to me.   Gotta love that warmth from time to time.   

It was so great to see all at the reunion.   Too bad we can't make them happen about once a month.  (Ok, ok, I know, I don't have a zillion little kids to take care of--my adulations to the mothers for all the extra work they end up doing at these kinds of affairs--and to the fathers for all the extra help they give to the mothers.)
